Summary of Position:
The international import logistics and supply chain clerk is housed within the Corporate Purchasing department and primarily handles the non-buying duties such as invoice approving, wire transfer priority and matching up purchase orders to the corresponding invoices. In addition to corporate purchasing duties, this role will also oversee, with utmost accuracy, the creation of companywide overstock reports and store performance ratings using a series of excel macros with data extracted from various areas of the organization.


Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Perform store performance analyses with excel data using analytical models.
  • Utilization and manipulation of computer programs such as excel daily.
  • Obtain, analyze, and interpret supply chain relevant data.
  • Audit and approve Invoices.
  • Determine priority of wire transfer completion.
  • Match purchase orders with corresponding invoices.
  • Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping station neat.
  • Display good work ethic.
  • Maintain professionalism in the workplace.

Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to type more than 50 WPM (will complete short typing test upon onsite interview)
  • Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting – 100% daily (subject to change daily)
  • Assist in lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 70 lbs. (occasionally up to 100 lbs.)
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes
  • Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received daily

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • Prior supply chain experience (highly preferred but not required)
  • Prior international logistics background (highly preferred but not required)
  • Prior warehouse experience (required)
  • Prior hose assembly experience (highly preferred but not required)
