Summary of Position:
Responsible for marketing, promoting, and profitably selling MWH products and services to existing and potential customers. Enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales and profitability goals.


 
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop business strategies to raise customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability
  • Initiate and maintain business relationships with customers primarily in the oil field at rig locations and with local field office personnel
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Sell to prospective customers using either pre-established leads or leads self-sourced by incumbents
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Sell, service, and promote Midwest Hose product line to external customers
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
  • Maintain issues that arise from staff or customers
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives
  • Provide report of sales data to superiors
  • Maintain professionalism in the work place
  • Perform any other assigned proprietary duties



Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within sales and management
  • Experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks
  • Proficiency in assessing, profiling and analyzing merchants' needs and proposing customized proposals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and reasoning to provide customer support and satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer skills such as typing and navigation through various computer programs including MS Outlook, Excel, and Windows
  • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM
  • Compassionate and patient customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to retain product knowledge
  • Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received daily
  • Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
  • Good organization skills
  • Reliable and dependable

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Hose and/or hydraulic experience is desired 
 
 
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • Some college experience (preferred but not required)
  • Prior industry related sales experience (highly preferred but not required)
  • Prior industrial hose industry experience (highly preferred)
